About

"We don't have to do all of it alone. We were never meant to."
― Brené Brown

Hey There!! My name is Lena Suarez-Angelino, and I wanted to take the time to introduce myself and welcome you to my site.

Before I start, I would like for you to pat yourself on the back or give yourself a soft hug for taking a massive step towards living the life you deserve!

By now, you’re probably reading this trying to decide if I would be a good fit for you, which is extremely important! Here’s what I think you should know:

I received both my Bachelors and Masters in Social Work from Monmouth University. I have experience working in a variety of settings such as Partial Care, Outpatient and Intensive In-Community (IIC). I have worked with children, adolescents and adults from all walks of life. I have worked with individuals, families and groups on a multitude of topics such as managing their symptoms of Anxiety and Depression, to groups on managing persistent and chronic mental illness such as Bipolar Disorders and Schizophrenia. I have helped families improve their communication and improve their parenting skills, as well as help families understand stages of childhood development.

I believe in a collaborative approach, where you and I will work together as a team to help manage your current stressors. At times, it may be helpful to discuss past history in order to resolve current symptoms. At times, it is beneficial to focus on the “here and now.” Together, we decide what the best treatment strategy is right for you!

Thank you for taking your time to get to know a little about me, and I hope to have made a connection with you. If you have any questions at all, please feel free to send me a message or email me directly at lena@lenasuarezangelino.com

All the best,

Lena Suarez-Angelino, MSW, LCSW
